Here is the final results of the osechi ryori assembled into lacquer boxes on the evening of the 31st.
The top photo shows all three boxes.
The second photo shows chicken and vegetables simmered.
The third photo shows datemaki (sweet egg omelette), kamaboko (fish cakes), kuromame (black beans), gomame (sweet and crispy baby sardines) and kurikinton (sweet Satsuma imo potato paste with chestnuts).
The bottom photo shows kazunoko, kohaku namasu (pickled daikon and carrots), tataki gobo (burdock root), simmered kuwai, nishin no konbumaki (konbu around herring) and pickled renkon (lotus root).
